Capital Punishment is a punishment that results in death of the convicted immate. Against Capital Punishment is when you dont agree with people getting send to jail fro murdering someone they should not deserve being in there. I am against not seeing their loved one's put to death and it also cost alot of money. The death penalty system cost $137 million per year. The lifetime incarceration would be $11.5 million per year. I am also against it because the person who is getting accuesed for the murder may be innocent. 1,188 people were executed in the U.S from 1977-2009.
Against Death Penalty

1. It is usless in that it doesnt bring the victim back to life.

2.
One victim's innocent family is obviously forced to suffer from a capital murder

3. It cost to much money using conservative rough projections, the Commission estimates the annual costs of the present death penalty system to be $137

Using conservative rough projections, the Commission estimates the annual costs of the present death penalty system to be $137 million per year.

The cost of a system which imposes a maximum penalty of lifetime incarceration instead of the death penalty would be $11.5 million per year.

Death Penalty:
Opinion:
-Capital punishment gives killers good cause to fear arrest and conviction.
-if they desing a legal system that will be so generous to the suspect.
-If opponents of capital punishment are going to claim that innocent people are being executed today, they need to find better evidence
Facts:

-In 1994, in northeastern states, 36% of those on death row were white, 59% black. In southern states, 57% were white, 41% black
