Part 3. Text Connections.
1. I would connect this book with another book "If you come softly." I would comapre it because in the book "If you come softly" Ellie and Jeremiah's parents didnt let them to be together because Ellie is Jewish and Jeremiah is black. To me it wasnt fair for them because of their religion. In the book "Darkness before dawn" Keisha met the princaples son Jonathen and once Keisha told her mom that she met a boy who she really loved and her mom didnt let her to see him because she thought that she wasnt the right one

1. I can infer that Keisha will ontinue with her life and forget about her ex-boyfriend Andy. Keisha will try her best to focus on college. Until she met the principal's son Jonathan Hathaway. Keisha had been working on homework and studying for the SAT. Keisha has been improving in school better then last year. But now Jonathan Hathaway has been getting her attention. And Keisha will get caught up into him and start putting her education and goals aside and worry more about Jonathan.
2. I can infer that Keisha and her mom will have a HUGE arguemant. I infer this because Keisha went on a date with Jonathan and he kissed her when they were in his car. But Keisha got home man late to her house and her mom started yelling at her saying why didnt she call her. She didnt want to lie but she thought that telling the truth will get her in huge trouble.

1. Why did Andy kill him self?Andy killed him self because Keisha had broked up with him and he really loved her, but Keisha had a good reason to leave him. Andy couldnt take no more pain so he chosed to shoot him slef. Andy really didnt have a choice of what to do. Keisha was just wondering why would he shoot him self when he could of talk to her. Keisha was really confused and she knew that he couldnt just kill him self because of their brake up.
2. How did Keisha feel about Andy's death? Keisha felt very empty, depressed, and angry. She felt that way because Andy was the love of her life and she had lost that half peice of her. She also felt angry because she kept on saying that it was all her fault why Andy killed him self. She felt depressed because she will never get to talk with Andy, or see him. She really didnt expect all this huge tragedy to happen.
Part 6. Predicting 1. I can predict that Gerald will tell her how he actually feels for Jallany. I know this because Gerald told her that they needed to talk about how he feels for Jallany, and Jallany already knew it was her. My prediction was inncorrect because Gerald was too scared to tell her and she was just smiling at him and he got too nervuse. Jallany knew what Gerald was going to tell her, but she just wanted him to say it clear and perfect. 2. I can predict that what caused Angel to collapse at her dance rehearsal was because she doesnt eat well and she is to skinny. My prediction was right because Angel was thin and she danced twice a day. But she didnt eat at all. And all she had ate was salad her favorite. Angel doesnt really notice that she is thin, she thinks that the only reason she collapses during her dance rehearsal is because she doesnt get that much sleep.
